Principal
Kristi Mitchell

Kristi Mitchell has dedicated 31 years to the field of education, serving students, teachers, and the community with passion, leadership, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Her distinguished career includes 16 years as a classroom teacher, 9 years as an assistant principal, and the past 6 years as Principal of Picayune Memorial High School.
In addition to her educational leadership, she spent 25 years coaching, helping shape the lives of countless student-athletes by instilling the values of teamwork, discipline, perseverance, and character. Her experiences in both the classroom and on the field have provided a strong foundation for her student-centered approach to leadership.
Principal Mitchell is dedicated to fostering a culture of academic achievement, school pride, and meaningful relationships. She believes in celebrating every success, whether large or small, and is well known for her favorite phrase, “One more reason to say Roll Tide Roll!” This expression reflects her enthusiasm for recognizing the accomplishments of students, faculty, staff, and the entire Maroon Tide community.
Under her leadership, Picayune Memorial High School continues to build on its tradition of excellence while preparing students for success beyond graduation.

Assistant Principal
Toni Lenoir Tucei

Toni Lenoir Tucei brings 27 years of educational experience to her role as Assistant Principal at Picayune Memorial High School. A proud alumna of Picayune Memorial High School, she returned to serve the community that helped shape her educational journey.
Mrs. Tucei spent the first seven years of her career as an English teacher, developing a strong foundation in curriculum development, classroom management, and student engagement. She then served for fourteen years as a school counselor, gaining valuable insight into the social-emotional and academic needs of students.
The 2019–2020 school year marked the beginning of her administrative career, where she expanded her understanding of instructional leadership while building strong relationships with students, staff, and families during a time of uncertainty. As Assistant Principal, Mrs. Tucei draws upon her diverse educational background to support both teachers and students. She is a firm believer in evidence-based decision-making, utilizing data analysis and research to drive school improvement initiatives, enhance instructional practices, and ensure equitable outcomes for all learners.
Beyond the school setting, Mrs. Tucei and her husband, retired history teacher Thomas Tucei Jr., enjoy traveling and spending time with their dogs. She finds inspiration in exploring new cultures, perspectives, and educational approaches from around the world. This global mindset influences her leadership style, helping foster an inclusive school community that celebrates diversity and prepares students for an interconnected world.

Adam Feeley

Adam Feeley serves as Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at Picayune Memorial High School. A proud alumnus of Picayune Memorial High School, Mr. Feeley is committed to giving back to the school and community that helped shape his educational and professional journey.
Mr. Feeley earned his bachelor's degree from University of Mississippi and his master's degree from William Carey University. Throughout his career in education, he has remained dedicated to helping students achieve success in the classroom, in athletics, and in life.
As Assistant Principal and Athletic Director, Mr. Feeley provides leadership that supports academic excellence, student development, and a strong athletic tradition. He works closely with students, faculty, coaches, parents, and community members to create opportunities that encourage growth, leadership, character, and achievement. His passion for education and athletics is rooted in the belief that schools play a vital role in preparing young people to become successful and productive members of their communities.
